Dogs Needing Homes in Stony Creek, Virginia

If you are interested in a pet call 804-898-5371 to arrange an appointment meet at Sussex County Animal Shelter. We are open Monday-Wednesday: 1pm-4pm, Thursday: 1pm to 7pm, Friday: 1pm-4pm, Saturday: 11am to 3pm. For other times please call 804-898-5371 to make an appointment.
All canines and felines will be spayed/neutered and receive their rabies vaccination prior to leaving the shelter for adoption.
Current adoption fee for dogs is $50 and for cats is $25. Distemper vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination and spay/neuter is included.
Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Sussex, Greensville, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Southampton, VA . Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
